Genesis PR has added to its growing team with two new appointments.

Craig Robinson has joined as Senior Account Manager and Ruby Urwin as Digital Account Manager.

Craig originally trained as a journalist and spent 10 years in regional newspapers, starting as a trainee and rising to deputy news editor. He began his career in PR two years ago and specialised in both corporate and consumer communications, coordinating campaigns at both regional and national level.

He said: “I am delighted to join Genesis PR and I hope to add my wealth of experience to the strong team here. I have worked on a broad range of sectors and industries which I think will benefit both existing and new clients.”

Ruby joins Genesis PR from a cloud collaboration company based in Reading. She specialises in search engine optimisation, Google analytics, e-comms, website development and event management. She has particular expertise working with public sector organisations and developing brand awareness alongside her analytical and optimisation skills.

Ruby said: “Having studied for a degree in Professional Writing at the University of Derby, I was immediately drawn to the PR industry and I am happy to be able to utilise my digital marketing skills and bring my SEO knowledge to the Genesis team.”

Genesis PR’s director, Penny Arbuthnot, said: “After a successful year for Genesis PR, we are delighted to welcome Craig and Ruby to the team to support our business growth and continue to deliver successful PR campaigns to our clients.”
