Genesis, the Ipswich PR agency which was named by PR Week to be amongst the Top 40 agencies outside London has appointed Joanna Knight as Account Director.

With over 30 years’ experience in PR, sales and marketing, Joanna spent many years working within an agency environment before spending the last 15 years as Sales and Marketing Director for a major office and contract furniture company working with high profile public sector and ‘blue chip’ clients.

 

Joanna is also a Liveryman of the Furniture Makers’ Company, a City of London Livery Company and charity for the furnishing industry, as well as being a Freeman of the City of London.  She said: “I am delighted to join the award-winning and growing team at Genesis and look forward to helping strengthen and reinforcing the Company’s ongoing expansion programme.

 

“My in-house and agency experience will provide an additional perspective to campaign strategy and help ensure we continue to deliver outstanding results.”

In May 2018, PR Week, the leading publication for the PR and communications industry, listed Genesis in its 2018 Top 40 PR agencies Outside London. The successful year included seven new staff appointments and seven in-house promotions, bringing the Genesis team to eighteen.
