Genesis, a Suffolk-based PR and marketing agency, has added to its rapidly expanding team with the new appointment of Senior Account Executive, Lucie Finan.

Lucie joins the team after building up an extensive range of content marketing skills – managing the online and print content at a national online letting agency, as well as working in the healthcare technology industry for Elsevier in London.

Using her varied experience and BA Honours degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, Lucie is looking forward to putting into practice her existing knowledge and learning new skills through agency life.

Lucie said: “I’m thrilled to have joined Genesis, especially at such an exciting time of growth! Agency life is fast-paced and you get to wear many hats, I love how varied it is. The team is outstanding and I’m already learning so much, despite having worked in marketing for many years.

“The focus on exceptional client service is rooted in everything Genesis does, something which I’ve also always made a priority throughout my career. Everyone works harmoniously to achieve fantastic client results.”

The appointment means Genesis has become a 21-strong team of PR and digital marketing professionals, with expertise across the team in areas including media relations, reputation management, digital advertising, social media, websites, Search Engine Optimisation and brand design.

It’s been a strong year for Genesis following the shortlisting of 10 CIPR awards for Anglia, Thames and Chiltern in July and making four appointments in the last three months including two graduates in May.

Director Penny Arbuthnot said: “We are so pleased to welcome Lucie to the team with her wealth of content marketing and social media experience. Her understanding of digital marketing will also complement our expanding digital team.”
