MoreLife is a national provider of healthy lifestyle services and was founded by Professor Paul Gately of Leeds Beckett University, one of the UK’s most respected experts in obesity and exercise. The company is commissioned by local councils, CCG’s and workplaces to design and deliver psychologically informed health and wellbeing programmes which include adult weight management and stop smoking.

The Challenge

PLMR Genesis was tasked with supporting MoreLife to build public and stakeholder awareness through the media and to use creative PR solutions to increase engagement.

The Solution

The PR strategy has focused on building awareness through the media and social media of people’s successful outcomes as a result of their support through MoreLife programmes. News jacking is generating additional opportunities for press and broadcast exposure, while national award entries and creative ideas for campaigns and events are building MoreLife’s profile throughout the year.

The Outcome

Communication has played a crucial part in highlighting MoreLife’s innovative approach to creating healthier lifestyles, building a strong social media presence to increase participation in local programmes, achieving multiple pieces of broadcast, online and print coverage and winning a national Health Service Journal Award for ‘Community Provider of the Year’.
